Modern school portrait photography that captures genuine smiles and personality, without creating extra work for your school office.

With almost twenty years' experience in education, including as a headteacher, I know how to work naturally with children and keep portrait day relaxed, organised and enjoyable.

  1. LOW COSTS FOR PARENTS

Our photography services are designed with parents' convenience and budget in mind. We understand the importance of offering affordable options, ensuring that high-quality school portraits don't break the bank. Our low-cost packages make it easy for parents to obtain beautiful keepsake photos of their children without straining their finances.

  2. FLEXIBILITY IN ORDERS

Flexibility is another cornerstone of our service. We appreciate that each family's needs are different, so we offer flexible order options. Parents can choose the package that suits them best, whether it's for individual prints, digital copies, or a combination of both.

  3. ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

I don’t believe in needless paperwork and never did as a headteacher. It also helps save the environment! Therefore, there is no paper used in our approach except physical photo prints and postage envelope. Parents are allocated a private album for each child and unique password. Schools can email these to each parent for security and parents order online. Photos come straight to the parents door. No paperwork for school office administrators.

  4. NATURAL PHOTOGRAPHS

We take pride in capturing natural poses and expressions that reflect the true personality of each student. Gone are the days of stiff, forced smiles. Our photographers create a comfortable and enjoyable environment, allowing children to be themselves, resulting in genuine, heartwarming portraits.

  5. FREE STAFF IMAGES

As a token of our appreciation for the hardworking school staff, we offer free photos for school use, including free staff headshots. It's a small way to say thank you for their dedication and commitment to the students and the school community. We believe in fostering a sense of community and cooperation, and this is just one of the ways we show our gratitude to those who make our schools special.

  • Quality

Quality photographs of happy, natural smiles. Having worked in schools for over 20 years, being able to speak to children and get natural smiles helps create better images for quality memories.

School Portrait Photography FAQs

Can you photograph siblings together?

1

Yes. Sibling photographs can be included as part of the portrait day, including brothers and sisters in different year groups. We can agree the best way to organise these with the school beforehand so they fit smoothly into the day.

How do parents view and order their photographs?

2

Parents are given access to a secure online gallery where they can view their child's photographs and order directly. There are no paper order forms or payments for the school office to collect and process.

What can parents order?

3

Parents can choose from a range of individual photographs rather than being restricted to a single pose. Digital downloads and printed products are available, allowing families to choose the photographs and format that suit them.

Are your school photographs affordable?

4

Yes. Keeping school portraits affordable for families is an important part of the service. Digital downloads start from £7.50, with a range of print and package options available, so parents can choose how much they want to spend without being pushed towards expensive packages.

How do you manage children's data and privacy?

5

Safeguarding and data protection are taken seriously throughout the process. Galleries are private and securely accessed, and children's photographs are never used for marketing or publicity without the appropriate permission. As a former headteacher, I understand the safeguarding and data protection responsibilities involved in working with children and schools.

What does the school need to organise?

6

Very little. Before the day, we'll agree timings, the location for the photographs and any sibling arrangements. On the day I manage the photography and work around the school's timetable, and afterwards ordering and payment are handled directly with parents, keeping administration for the school to a minimum. All I need from school is a name list and passwords emailed to parents.
